Discover the different varieties of avocados that exist
- Hass hazelnut flavored avocado:
It has yellow pulp, it is small, rough and dark skinned. Its size is 120-300 grams. Hass avocado is the most consumed and cultivated.
- Bacon is the earliest variety:

- Strong is one of the most cultivated varieties:
It is pear shaped and weighs about 250 grams. Its skin is rough but relatively thin and stands out for its exquisite flavor. It can be purchased throughout the year. It stands out for its high content of oleic acid and a lower amount of fat compared to the other varieties.
- Reed. Thick, green and very slightly grainy skin:
It has a characteristic flavor, it has a mild aroma. Its shape is one of the most rounded, with a size of 250 to 600 grams that exceeds the rest of the varieties. It stands out because it does not blacken when cut, making it ideal for salads or appetizers.
- Pinkerton. Piriform and very elongated fruit, dark green in color, dark skin and good flavor (similar to Hass avocado):
It stands out because its tree produces more fruits than the other varieties.
- Lamb Hass. Thick skin with a pebble texture and taste similar to Hass:
It has a pear shape and its approximate weight is 280 - 320 grams. It is considered a hybrid of the Hass avocado and differs from it by being more resistant to wind and high temperatures.
